For larger, more complex flooring installation projects we will sometimes prepare a sample of the floor for the homeowner to review. The material on this sample board is 3/4″ x 8” Character Grade White Oak (solid wood flooring). We have already sanded this sample, but in the video we are “wire brushing” it, as well. Wire brushing adds a texture to the flooring and looks and feels like it has a brushed texture. This is a high-end process which our expert finishers can provide.
